Google Sky Map

Sky map (Formerly =Google Sky) is a feature for Google Earth and an online sky/outer space viewer. It was created in 2007 by google then donated to Sky Map Devs and also become a open source.
The application allows users to view a collaboration of images from NASA satellites, the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and the Hubble Telescope.

SkyMap organizes the objects it shows them into layers:-
It shows you

  • Stars
  • Constellations
  • Messier Objects
  • Planets
  • Meteor Showers

This App allow you to search specific Planets and Stars by name,
It allow you to see Sky at time of other then Present (Year 1900 to 2100)
Gallery- In gallery it shows some photos taken by Hubble telescope.

Sensors this App use is Compass, Accelerometerator, Gyroscope, rotation, GPS. If your phone dont have those still you can use it in manual Mode.
